The Titanic Movie Review
Titanic movie was one of the most-watched American romantic films. It was directed by James Cameron, who also wrote, edited, and co-produced the movie. On the film poster, there is a man and a woman who are hugging over a titanic bore’s picture. In the background, there is a partially cloudy sky while at the top there are the names of two protagonists of Titanic, namely Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. The background music of the film was done by James Horner. The producing studio was 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, and Lightstorm Entertainment. The movie was released on the1st of November 1997 at the International Film Festival of Tokyo. The film distribution was done by Paramount Pictures in the United States.
The film received overwhelming commercial and critical successes. It was selected for the Academy Awards where it won in the category of pictures. Titanic got excellent commentaries on the class struggle issue and is also very great in the actions, visuals, and effects.
In the film, Cameron divides the passengers into two categories – the poor and the rich. The movie tells the love story of Kate Winslet, who traveled with her rich fiance-millionaire. The film projects the fictional love between the two. DiCaprio and Winslet fall in love and are the ones to act in the nude scene as the romantic theme was broadened in the movie. The nature of the shooting reflected Cameroon as the Scariest man in Hollywood movies. Cameron, as the producer and editor, was an uncompromising and real perfectionist in his piece of work. In his comments, Cameron stated that filmmaking is, generally, a big war and reflects a battle that exists between businesses and aesthetics.

The ship, the Titanic, was professional in both – it’s interior and the exterior. The movie reaches its climax only after the sinking of the ship starts. When the accident happens, those were the rich who had the first priority to get on the lifeboats. Cameron was a creative author and staged good stories to help good triumph over evil. So, in the end, life triumphs over death and this is one of the reasons why Titanic is a good movie and it should be not only seen but experienced.
Moreover, speaking about accolades, Titanic got many awards. It won Golden Globes in the category for the best picture, the best director and original score, and also for the best original song. The film later won many other valuable awards. In addition, when it came to the box office, Titanic earned about $ 658,672,302 just in North America and $ 1,526,700,000 in other countries. It was the most gossiped-about movie worldwide with the highest followers’ rating of about 87 %.
In conclusion, Titanic is a very unique film in many aspects. The romantic elements of the film attracted an audience which was mostly the adult population who was mature and able to analyze the issues appropriately. The film is complex and tangled by its nature and raises numerous life issues. The major thing I have learned from it is that films should be designed to reach the intended audience and there should be good themes that attract the customers. I would recommend this film to another person because it has nice motives and raises actual moral themes.
