Applying for the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering Program
Dear Sir or Madam,
By means of this letter I would like to state my reasons and motivation for applying for the program that you offer.
I would like to apply for the Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering program for the summer of 2019. I believe it to be an outstanding opportunity for me to conduct a research within the study visits which would enrich my knowledge and expertise. I am also eager to acquire professional experience, gaining exposure to high quality work in an intellectually challenging and international environment.
My goal for the time being is to be enrolled in the Master’s Program in Aerospace Engineering for the summer of 2019. Long time ago, I realized my interest and passion when it went about aerospace and engineering. Combining these two fields of expertise may lead to the totally unexpected consequences, and it is what fascinates me the most about Aerospace Engineering. While pursuing my degree at Georgia Institute of Technology, I put all my efforts to gain a solid background and understanding of all the critical issues related to the aerospace profession. I worked extensively on hands-on experiments in the laboratories and designed the projects in cooperation with the experts from the faculty. I managed to realize that the fundamental bridge which connects physics and engineering addresses daily problems that we have in the 21st century, which range from space exploration to civil and military aviation.
I am a passionate student, and the success in academic life is the top priority for me. My academic and career goals include exploring cutting-edge research equipment and integrating latest technology through internal and external collaborations. Previously, I attended the Georgia Institute of Technology that equipped me with the knowledge and understanding of the innovative technologies and engineering methods. The alumni of these universities are successful and recognized professionals in various facets of engineering and technology.
My ultimate academic goal is to become an aerospace engineer, but enrolling first for the M.S. in Aerospace Engineering program at Georgia Tech would enable me to gain the knowledge, communication skills, and technical expertise necessary to conduct research that would allow me to better understand various physical phenomena, develop theories on the basis of observations and experiments, and apply these theories for solving real-life problems and bringing meaningful changes to the society that we live in. Furthermore, I hope to advance in my studies, pursue the PhD degree, and obtain the job that would enable me to apply the knowledge and experience that I posses as well as indulge my impulse to both conducting the research work and teaching others the knowledge that I obtained through it.
Besides all the factors that I mentioned, I also possess years of experience of working and volunteering in different kinds of youth organizations, as well as the fact that I have not been just a regular member but also the leader and the head. Therefore, I possess a certain level of expertise when it comes to communications, psychology, and other general skills necessary for every open-minded professional.
My previous experience and academic pursuit have armed me with the unique set of strengths that could be shared with other participants of this program. Despite my vigorous interest in certain fields of Aerospace Engineering, I am keen on discussing and challenging my expertise in other related disciplines as well.
I must admit that the opportunity to become a participant of this program would really impact my future studies, career, and life.
Thank you for your consideration.
